Mamba Neagra

Poate unul dintre cei mai temuti pradatori de pe intregul continent african este Mamba Neagra, un sarpe veninos gigant intalnit in Sud-Estul continentului. Este denumit astfel dupa pielea neagra din cerul gurii, care este vizibila in momentul atacului. Acesti serpi sunt de obicei timizi, insa pot sa devina foarte agresivi intr-o confruntare directa. In timpul atacului, Mamba Neagra obisnuieste sa isi muste victima in repetate randuri, eliberand doze letale de venin. In trecut, muscatura de Mamba Neagra era 100% fatala.
